We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our Altera Talent team. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that our projects align with the strategic goals of the organization.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and document requirements clearly and accurately.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
- Process Improvement: Document business processes and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Project Support: Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to business requirements, functional specifications, and project progress.
- Testing Support: Develop and execute test plans to validate that solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users as needed, ensuring smooth implementation of new processes and systems.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within HR and/or talent functions
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL), business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and business process documentation
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with program/project management and key stakeholders’ management, leading projects to completion
