Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of release management processes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of software updates and enhancements.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of release strategies that align with business goals and customer needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in release management and project execution.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between development, testing, and operations teams to ensure smooth release cycles.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance release management processes and project delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise and support in the development and deployment of software solutions within the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for release management processes, project plans, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of release management practices to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the project teams

Qualifications:

  • Possess a deep understanding of release management processes and strategies.
  • Have extensive experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Show proficiency in risk management

The annual salary for this position is between $70,000,– $135,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

  • This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
