Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of release management processes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of software updates and enhancements.
- Oversee the development and implementation of release strategies that align with business goals and customer needs.
- Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in release management and project execution.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between development, testing, and operations teams to ensure smooth release cycles.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance release management processes and project delivery.
- Provide technical expertise and support in the development and deployment of software solutions within the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
- Develop and maintain documentation for release management processes, project plans, and technical specifications.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of release management practices to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the project teams
Qualifications:
- Possess a deep understanding of release management processes and strategies.
- Have extensive experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
- Demonstrate strong project management skills with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Show proficiency in risk management

The annual salary for this position is between $70,000,– $135,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
- This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
