Job Description

Human Resources Development Program Analyst/Associate

By joining one of PNC’s Development Programs, you can explore your potential through hands-on experience in a professional environment. This is an excellent opportunity to begin exploring your career goals, in addition to growing your skills in key areas. The goal of PNC’s Development Programs is to move analysts and associates from development roles into production roles in one of PNC’s lines of business.

Human Resources (HR) is a strategic partner to PNC’s leaders and employees – helping the company to deliver exceptional results through our most crucial asset – our people.   HR professionals provide  insights, expertise and guidance at every phase of the employee and manager experience. From recruiting talented individuals, providing learning and development, and ensuring effective pay and benefits strategies, the HR team provides insights, expertise and guidance for every phase of the employee and manager experience.

The program consists of rotational assignments, shadow exposures, blended learning opportunities and mentoring which will enable associates to develop their skills in support of the HR competencies and PNC’s One HR Model. During the program, associates have a unique opportunity to deepen their HR expertise, collaborate with senior and executive leaders, and contribute to critical HR activities. Associates will rotate through several key areas of HR, typically including Employee Relations, HR Business Partners, PNC University (Learning & Development), Talent Acquisition (Recruiting), and Total Rewards (Compensation & Benefits).

Rotations and placement in other areas within HR may be added based on business need.

The Human Resources Development Program is located in Pittsburgh, Chicago, and Atlanta.

This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis.  Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s discretion.
