Job Description

1. Strategic Planning:
o Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
o Participate in the strategic planning process as a member of the management team.

2. Talent Acquisition and Management:
o Strategize the resourcing plan for the country , implement digital tools to ease the process and attract top talent .
o Ensure the development of talent , career progression & succession planning for employees

3. Industrial & Employee Relations:
o Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
o Address and resolve employee issues and conflicts.
o Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures for contract associates and manage HR compliances for the organisation .
4. Compensation and Benefits:
o Strategize and design C&B policy and HR systems for the country in accordance with global policies .
o Design and implement competitive compensation and benefits packages in accordance with market and global standards and business conditions and projections o Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations.

5. Performance Management:
o Develop and manage performance appraisal systems.
o Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management issues.

6. Compliance and Legal:
o Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.
o Manage risk and ensure legal compliance in all HR functions.

7. HR Metrics and Reporting:
o Develop and track key HR metrics to measure effectiveness.
o Prepare and present reports on HR metrics and trends to senior management.
o Use data analytics to drive decision-making and improve HR processes.

8. Culture and Engagement:
o Promote a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
o Lead initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
o Stay current on HR best practices and industry trends to ensure the HR function remains innovative and effective.

9. Leadership and Development:
o Mentor and develop the HR team .
o Lead by example, promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing ER and IR matters in India.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws, HR best practices, and industrial relations.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, with strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Experience in driving change initiatives in a fast growing country
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional APAC languages is a plus
