Position Description:

• CGI is looking for a Business system analyst having experience in working with Enterprise data management.
• The candidate will collaborate with both business stakeholders and IT teams to translate business needs into technical requirements, while also leveraging data analytics to drive business solutions.
• The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, passion for technology, extensive data analysis experience.
• This candidate will serve as a techno functional expert of a development project consisting of distributed project teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Perform requirements gathering with business stakeholders, including creating deliverables
• Conduct detailed research and analysis to identify solution alternatives
• Create user stories, data flow diagrams, and process maps to guide system design and development
• Collaborate with development team to refine, estimate, and track user-stories to completion
• Work with Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts, and Technical Managers to build a database and reports.
• Data analysis, business analysis, data ingestion, data integration, data migration and data cleansing.
• Responsible for analyzing data to validate business domains and requirements
• Develop source to target mappings for data lineage (STTM)
• Responsible for data profiling and ensuring data quality requirements are accurate and complete
• Validates that data integration, data movement, and warehouse meets requirements and service-level agreements
• Act as the conduit between the business subject matter experts and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 6+ years of IT experience working in relational database design with SQL, Oracle and reporting tools like Tableau.
• Experience with enterprise/master data management concepts, principles and best practices.
• Strong experience working in SQL queries.
• Strong in data analysis, generating reports, presenting the data and graphs.
• Ability to Analyze data elements and develop technical specifications and data mapping documents.
• Should be able to work with the functional/technical team understand the functional/technical process flow and help the business team for day-to-day activities.
• Experience working in Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, all Microsoft products
• Nice to have experience working in Hadoop, Hive, Impala and Python.
• Nice to have experience working in Banking and financial services domain.
• Agile/scrum development experience.
• Very strong in Analytical and Problem-solving skills, with ability to confidently interact with other client-side teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,300 - $165,200.”
