Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with recruiting and HRBP teams to create offer packets, kick off and review background checks and manage onboarding process for new joiners.

  • Maintain employee data and transactions in HR systems (Workday, international benefit vendors etc.).  Complete data audits across multiple systems, to ensure data integrity.

  • Support off-boarding process including data entry into associated systems, partnering with associated departments (Compliance, IT, Reception, etc.).

  • Provide additional support to benefit operations as needed including, but not limited to, ensuring invoices are paid in a timely fashion, and changes are processed correctly with Payroll and vendors, reconciling claims, and answering employee benefit questions.

  • May run reports and/or analyze data using Excel, Workday and other systems. 

  • May assist with immigration requirements including, but not limited to, tracking visa status, completing I9s and reverifying these documents as needed.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal clients, efficiently and effectively answering their questions, providing them with accurate information.

  • Build understanding of end-to-end HR and employee life cycle processes.

  • Follow proper controls laid out by HR Management to mitigate risk

  • With Head of HR Ops, manage regulatory compliance activities (i.e., SOX) in accordance with guidelines,

  • Balance day to day responsibilities with key project work

  • Create and maintain process documentation, i.e., required signatures, benefits sign-up, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 1-3 years HR Operations experience with 1 year of Workday experience preferred. Prior experience at a financial services firm is preferred. 

  • Experience with and knowledge of HR processes preferred including Onboarding/Offboarding, Performance Management, HRIS reporting and analytics.

  • General HR practices, procedures, policies and employee benefits knowledge preferred.

  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of Excel, PowerPoint and Word is strongly preferred.

  • You are a highly motivated individual with strong organizational skills and are detail oriented. 

  • You clearly understand the confidential nature of HR information.

  • You have an ability to prioritize a large volume of multifaceted requests and deliver with accuracy and speed.

  • Customer Service Mindset: Experience responding to inquiries, knowing when to escalate.

  • You enjoy connecting with others, listen with empathy, and have solid verbal and written communication skills.

  • You are team oriented and are able to work well with peers who are in different locations.

  • You are a resourceful problem-solver; ability to work in the gray.
