Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring for a DevOps Solution Architect role for a temporary, Hybrid assignment in Plano, TX.

This position is a 12-month assignment, with potential to extend. The pay range for this role is between $86 - $90/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5-10 years' experience in Information Technology, 2-3+ years in an Architecture environment.
  • Should have achieved mastery in one of the SecDevops practices – IaC-Terraform, SONAR, Git-CI Cloud-AWS, CICD-Git/Argo, microservices architecture deployment (primarily Kubernetes) with awareness about site reliability engineering principles, coupled with a willingness to learn and expand the knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Experience with source control and continuous integration tools.
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
  • Good experience with cloud services (AWS), cloud engineering, architecture, and software as a service. Hands-on experience in AWS Services – IAM, VPC, EKS, CloudFront, APIGW.
  • Ability to work in fast paced teams with quick decision making.
  • Scripting experience with Bash/Shell, Python.
  • Experience in IaC - Terraform is a must have.
  • CI (preferably Gitlab CI) and CD (preferably Argo CD).
  • Kubernetes debugging experience
