This position works out of our Santa Clara, CA location in our Structural Heart division. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.
We aim to lead the markets we serve by requiring the solutions we offer customers provide an improved benefit/risk profile as compared to existing standards of care; a performance threshold that by definition, guides and ensures the productive output of our engineering, business development, and clinical research efforts result in outcomes that advance the standard of care.
The Business HR Manager will serve as the primary strategic BHR partner for the Structural Heart U.S. for Finance, Clinical, Medical Affairs and Marketing. You will establish, build, and maintain strong relationships with site employees, supervisors, managers, and leadership to enhance workforce performance by supporting employee development, planning strategic HR initiatives, and serving as a consultant on all general HR issues while developing and implementing HR strategies to meet organizational needs.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
Serve as the primary strategic partner to the business, developing HR strategies, needs assessments and resulting HR solutions.
Be the ambassador of the HR organization to represent the services and resources available to the business and help manage the collective reputation of the HR organization as a whole.
Ensure actions and delivery of Practice and Service Centers align with overall HR strategy and meet the needs of the business.
Coordinate and implement HR strategies to meet organizational needs of a major segment of the business.
Ensure strategies incorporate and are consistent with divisional/corporate values, sound and ethical business practices and Abbott HR practices and support the long-range business plan.
Responsible for the diagnosis, development and delivery of HR strategies, programs and services that influence and drive the needs of the respective business. Latitude (range of function) of decisions and actions are determined by the complexity and impact on the respective business segment.
