Responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities: HCM Functional Consultant (Payroll)
- Responsible for client deliverables (functional/technical) of medium-high complexity work with quality check, learning and understanding the client's requirements
- Conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements, ensure client takes advantage of Workday standard methodologies
- Responsible for tenant build using workbooks, provision and administer PAAS Environment Strategy, Tenant build, Deploy, Bug fix support & report creation.
- Provide domain expertise regarding key business process decisions related to industry and/or functional areas
Required Skills/Experience
- Data Conversion Experience, exposure to Customer Central, iLoads, EIBs, Migration of functional configuration using Workday tools like Migration Recipe and Advance Loader.
- Experience in implementing and supporting Workday HCM and Payroll for global rollouts and experience on US Payroll is must.
- Should have knowledge on Run categories, Pay Accumulations, Pay Groups and Pay components in Workday
- Experience in configuring various business processes within Core HCM, Payroll, Absence, and Benefits.
- Experience in setting up in setting up Absence plans, Benefit Plans, Time Tracking, and compensation plans.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Good to have knowledge on Bank Setup and country specific deductions and earnings for Payroll processing.
- Experience on other modules like Absence, Benefits, Compensation, and Time Tracking is a plus.
- Strong verbal and analytical skills with the ability to write at a publication quality level.
- Candidate should have an experience in leading the design sessions or workshops to bring in the best practices and suggesting work arounds for non-compliance requirement
- Exposure as a contributor in all phases of Workday implementation
