  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience with BI service delivery in consulting, software, internet or media industries, or early stage companies
  • 5 years of experience in managing vendor relationships
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Plx, Data Studio, Tableau, Looker, and with programming/scripting languages

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing a vendor team and formulating strategy for value stream delivery models
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across business functions and advise on BI and analytics opportunities
  • Ability to present analysis in a clear and compelling manner
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with business judgment

About The Job

At the helm of the BI CoE for Google Cloud, you will assume responsibility for overseeing a comprehensive vendor service encompassing ad-hoc analysis, dashboarding, and forensics/support for the Virtual BI Hub. Collaborating closely with business partners and leaders, you will initiate the development and execution of a strategic plan, pinpointing and prioritizing the evolving needs of the Sales organization while establishing clear success metrics. A key aspect of your role will be managing the vendor relationship, ensuring they adhere to our high standards and expectations. Simultaneously, you will advocate for the development and implementation of best practices for BI service delivery, providing unwavering support to our internal team and the Sales organization while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Devise and implement a groundbreaking BI service delivery model that streamlines operations and enhances customer satisfaction. Identify and implement transformative BI solutions annually, enhancing the BI CoE team's capabilities.
  • Prioritize the development of AI-powered BI solutions, leveraging GenAI to automate routine tasks and elevate BI insights.
  • Foster a culture of innovation within the BI CoE team, encouraging the exploration of cutting-edge BI technologies and methodologies.
  • Formulate and align Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to gauge the effectiveness of the BI CoE. Report vendor performance findings to the BI team's leadership, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with GenAI specialists to create engaging and informative interaction models for Sales users, enhancing data comprehension and utilization.
