We have an opportunity for a self-motivated and competitive Business Development Manager to join our Pacific team. In this role, you will help us to secure new opportunities by promoting the Danfoss drives product range within the food and beverage market as well as growing our existing customer base.

Job Responsibilities

Your Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Achieve sales growth targets in the assigned market by providing appropriate technical solutions to meet customer needs.
• Identify, build, and target new and existing customers.
• Prepare and deliver presentations (on-site or off-site) to potential and existing customers, industry groups and consultants.
• Participate in the preparation of tender documentation and submissions.
• Participate in sales meetings/conferences and attend trade shows and seminars to promote products and learn about industry development.
• Collaborate with other sales and technical staff, to ensure opportunities are followed up and progressed.
• Provide status reports on work as required, including sales forecasting.
  
  

Background & Skills

• Sales experience - a proven ability to acquire new business and continue to strengthen existing relationships within the food and beverage industry.
• Technical knowledge - understanding of VSDs and their applications
• Qualification in electrical engineering.
• Tenders - the ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Presentation skills - presenting to small groups via MS Teams or face-to-face.
• System- Basic understanding of Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
