Job Description
Essential Functions
- Manage programming, budget, schedule, design and documentation for multiple architectural, interiors, and landscape projects utilizing external consultants.
- Develop Requests for Proposals, procure and evaluate proposals and bids from professional consultants and construction contractors.
- Manage participation, input, and review of internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate and guide multiple consultants and contractors on several departmental and University capital projects simultaneously.
- Review project documentation for completeness, quality, and adherence to University standards. Ensure project goals and University design standards are met.
- Evaluate and advise on sustainability initiatives related to individual projects and to Planning and Design
- Oversee site construction for multiple projects simultaneously..
- Manage budgets and schedules of multiple projects simultaneously
- Report on progress of projects using departmental procedures.
- Represent the University regarding proposed projects and initiative to internal and external audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Architecture
- 7 years of relevant experience
